1 CORINTHIANS 3:10-15- By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved- even though only as one escaping through the flames.
The foundation of Jesus Christ- (What is this foundation- Christ Crucified)
1 Corinthians 15:3-8- For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cheka’s, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of his brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
Christ Crucified:
1 Corinthians 1:23- But we preach Christ Crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
