It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.

The love of money is the root of all evil.  We cannot serve two masters.  Where is your heart?

This is a sin that is easily dismissed from our minds.  That is precisely the problem.  We have a problem with contentment.  We think to ourselves that I want this or I deserve this.  We can rational out our desires.  We live in a society where we throw out the old and get the new.  Most of us wish we made more money, but do we really need more money?  The love of money knows no bounds and can easily corrupt us into the sins of greed and covetous.

Let the Lord Jesus lead us into a contentment and peace with what we have and be more generous with our money and time to help those in need.
